This article focuses on the move by defense companies in Europe and the Middle East to make drone aircraft. Schiebel of Austria has secured the tenth customer for its Camcopter S-100 with sales exceeding 100. The French Navy have shown interest in Schiebel's Camcopter S-100. Israel's Rafael has also unveiled its Panther fixed-wring aircraft drone designed to carry a Minipop day/night stabilised camera with a laser rangefinder.
