ABSTRACT
The article looks at the financial performance of the high-yield market in the U.S. It reports that the junk-bond market's experiences of negative flow funds and the pulling of high-yield bond funds by investors are brought by the cyclicality and volatility of the market. Details related to the junk-bond deals removed by companies such as Burlington Coat Factory and American Media and the availability of buyers in the primary market despite the reversal of fund flows are also reviewed.
