The article presents a research study on the use of endo-exo femurprosthesis devices. Two surgical techniques are performed to the attachment of the prosthesis such as the implantation of the capped intramedullary device and the creation of the stoma to attach the transdermal coupler. The result of the study provides good outcome with a decreased rate of deep intramedullary infection and is indicated for active individuals with posttraumatic amputation.
