ABSTRACT
The article presents a research study which shows the results of callus distraction-lengthening in the hand and upper extremity for children with posttraumatic differences and congenital skeletal deficiencies. Callus distraction-lengthening procedure is performed to patients by elongating the skeletal segments and their surrounding soft tissues to increase bone length. The results of the procedure have demonstrated efficacy in making deficient skeletal architecture functional.
