Foodservice reports are cited which show the increasing popularity of restaurants that offer top quality food with more cost-effective menus. A Datassential survey revealed that afternoon and mid-morning snacking has increased at a number of foodservice operators. Menu developers are seen to be capitalizing on the popularity of Asian, Latin and Mediterranean dishes.
