ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the aspects of New Zealand-China bilateral trade agreements. It states that New Zealand has been concentrating on the tax treaty developments with traditional partners including U.S., Great Britain, and Australia. It notes that the China corporate Income Tax (CIT) law was enacted in 2007 along with its detailed enforcement rules issued and became effective on January 1, 2008. Furthermore, it points out that the old Chinese tax incentive programs were created to attract foreign investor.
