ABSTRACT
The article presents the findings of the September 2010 Metals Activity Report from Metals Service Center Institute Inc. in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The report reveals that there was a little change in steel shipments and inventories from North American service centers in September, but the first three quarters of the year were dramatically better than 2009. It also shows that steel shipments from U.S.-based service centers reached 3.17 million tons.
