ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition of the assets of Kelco Metals Inc., a Schaumburg, Illinois-based value-added steel distributor, by Esmark Steel Group LLC for nine million U.S. dollars. James P. Bouchard, Esmark's chairman and chief executive officer (CEO), states that the move, which is part of Esmark's expansion project, is expected to increase its revenue and market within the U.S. Bouchard adds that the acquisition is also a strategic fit with the company's portfolio of service center.
