ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's view on the challenges in the marketing of intercollegiate teams in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) division III. It reports on the challenges in the promotion of teams in U.S. universities including fan-based marketing campaigns. It also discusses the influence of sports fans and recognition to the funds of sports teams.
