ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's ideas on how insurance agents can avoid errors & omissions problems. It discusses a case wherein the claim made by a couple for the home, including the insured's personal property on the premises that were burned was denied by the insurer. The importance of training insurance agents to better understand the inferences a producer gains when taking an application for insurance is explored.
