ABSTRACT
The article presents information on indexing software programs available on the Internet including CINDEX, located at http://www.indexres.com, Macrez, located at http://www.macrex.com, and SKY Index, located at http://www.sky-software.com. It also discusses reports from indexing societies and conferences including the Australian and New Zealand Society of Indexers (ANZSI), the Chinese Society of Indexers (CSI), and the Indexing Society of Canada/Société canadienne d'indexation (ISC/SCI). A note from the editor of the column, who announces that indexer Terri Hudoba will replace her, is presented.
