ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the Veterans Day, a celebration to honor veterans in the U.S. for their sacrifices for the good of the community and their patriotism. A brief historical overview of the origin of the celebration is given, along with the original concept for the observance as well as the laws governing the commemoration. Information on how people in different states in the country celebrate the Veterans Day on November 11 is also provided.
