This article features Dar Williams, a folk singer-songwriter from Massachusetts who will have a concert tour in Great Britain in December 2010. The concert will coincide with the release of the recording "Many Great Companions." Williams launched her career in the early 1990s on the Boston/Cambridge coffeehouse folk circuit. Like many singer-songwriters, Williams self-produced and released her songs on her own homegrown label.
