ABSTRACT
The article presents the journal's forecast on the economic conditions of Vietnam. It states that the Vietnamese government's stance on driving growth in 2010 will continue to threaten economic stability and the business environment of the country. It adds that high lending rates and a global economic slowdown represent challenges for businesses, however, it is expected that companies exposed to the infrastructure and retail sectors could surpass the challenging environment.
