ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the developments in the clinical practice guidelines for the diagnosis and management of osteoporosis in Canada in 2002. It states that the 2010 guidelines follow the framework of the Appraisal of Guidelines, Research and Evaluation (AGREE). It mentions that women and men over age of 50 are the target population of the modified guidelines. Moreover, it says that in order to enhance adherence to the treatment plan, lifestyle modification should be individualized.
