The article focuses on the accreditation of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in hospital pharmacies. It relates the accreditation for durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers which is extended until January 2011, provided that they meet the exemption criteria. It says that Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was accredited for it had met the enrollment criteria. It adds that unaccredited pharmacies must sign the attestation statement for exemption eligibility.
