The article stresses the need for rationality and intuition among peoples in order to achieve successful financial planning. Separate and unreliant, each stays lost. With synergistic mutual dependence, each has the opportunity to function and achieve success and vigor. In Among financial planning tools and technical educations, the rational includes financial products, various laws and financial arts, and an array of analytical capabilities. Ideally, these would balance the intuitive, including soul, perspective, context and broad understanding. Financial planning is the ultimate liberal arts profession. Liberal arts educations provide solid bases for life-time learning, perspective, adaptability, curiosity and creativity--just what wisdom needs. The author draws parallels between the liberal arts profession and financial planning. He highlights matters that are inextricably embedded within the fabric of financial planning and the clients' well-being. They are part and parcel of their economic lives from the intimately personal to overtly public.
