The article discusses the different projections of local businessmen about the recovery of the rapidly once-thriving City of Las Vegas, Nevada in November 2010. Many locals believe that the key spark needed by Las Vegas to reignite a boom is a national unemployment drop big enough to encourage people to spend huge once again. Larkin Plumbing president Mark Larkin thinks that Las Vegas will come back as a boomtown. The difference of Las Vegas from other U.S. cities and its excessively fast growth in the past are also discussed.
