ABSTRACT
The article reports on the prediction by some loan market participants that a 10 billion U.S. dollar mega leveraged buyout (LBO) deal is already being prepared. A loan market analyst explains why the mega deal is possible to emerge despite the slow economic recovery and the debt crisis in Europe. Some of the entities that could put a 10 billion U.S. dollar LBO together according to a banker based in Chicago, Illinois include Blackstone Group, TPG, Goldman Sachs and Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts.
