ABSTRACT
This article presents information on steps that are to be taken by a financial professional for a successful seminar presentation. It is informed that program chairpersons are deeply concerned that a speaker may not be prepared or may nor convey a valid message. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare some handouts that are helpful, such as budget suggestions, compound interest chart, etc. It is opined that presentations should be made through some visual-aids. These might include generic handouts. Bar graphs, pie charts or histograms are also to be included in the presentation. These could be displayed on an overhead projector or even on a computer with a video projector. It is also very important to prepare a one page summary of the topics being discussed in the course of the presentation made. A brief letter to organizations should also be prepared. It should emphasize handouts and visual aids to reassure program leaders and it should focus on consumer interests and not on agent or planner services.
