The article presents the author's insights regarding the impact of natural disasters on the cable network and telecommunications industry. The author says that natural disasters aggravate the reliance of people on cable networks at times when networks are most vulnerable to interruption. The author adds that the major goal of the cable telecommunications engineers is to create an atmosphere that can help them maintain highest level of customer service regardless of the future circumstances.
