ABSTRACT
The article discusses technology innovation in video surveillance systems. Commercial buildings, malls, and housing complexes are some of the markets that use surveillance systems. The emergence of orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) technology, along with advanced antenna technologies reportedly enabled improvements in radio performance. Attributes and features of fourth generation WiMAX technology are cited including interference mitigation techniques. Also discussed are wireless point-to-point solutions.
