ABSTRACT
The article reports that SkyCross, a designer and manufacturer of antenna solutions, has asked mobile device manufacturers and consumers to take a break from the Antennagate controversy and review radio-frequency (RF) issues and their effect on smartphone performance. It states that antenna issues will be more important in smartphones that need multiple antennas for full broadband connectivity. The technical and mechanical side of designing antennas for complex multi-band smartphones is described.
