ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the Gimme 5 2010 culinary contest in which Star chefs from Barbados teamed with travel agents as their assistants at the Hilton Barbados beach as a part of a familiarization trip. The dishes prepared included baked spicy pork, and chicken and pineapple kebabs by chef Marvin Barton. The head judge Petra Roach, from the Barbados Tourism Authority was impressed by the enthusiasm of the participants.
