Cytotoxic rotenoids from Mirabilis jalapa

The article presents a study regarding the antitumor properties of plant mirabilis jalapa. It states that investigations reveals that plant extracts of mirabilis jalapa exhibits bioactivities and inhibitory effects. It also mentions that four fractions of compounds were identified from the extracted roots of mirabilis jalapa which includs boeravinone B, boeravinone E, and mirabijalone B. Furthermore, compounds tested indicate important cytotoxic activity against the cell lines tested.
