ABSTRACT
Highlights results of the 2001 National Family Physician Workforce Survey, conducted by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Findings, including the average number of patients which family physicians examine each week, and the average weekly hours worked; Information about the small percentage of practices which accept new patients without restrictions; Comment that the survey shows that there is a shortage of family physicians in Canada.
