The article discusses the function of the History Collections (HC) at Kornhauser Health Sciences Library at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. It states that HC has the answer to a particular genealogical question like an ancestor who may have attended or graduated from medical school in Louisville. It notes that while some of the questions come directly to the HC, many travel more indirect routes because researchers usually have no idea where medical students' records might be preserved.
