The article looks at the recruitment and personnel management in insurance companies based in Asia following the global financial crisis. It asserts that Asian insurers are looking beyond the financial services industry and hiring people with experience in human resource, marketing, legal, finance, information technology and compliance. It insists that the firms are investing more in people development and high-potential identification programs for career development.
