ABSTRACT
The article informs that Detroit, Michigan-based nonprofit Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit is planning to restart its retail business by opening a new store in Canton, Michigan, in October 2010. Goodwill Industries is planning to open 40 stores in the region after a 10-year hiatus from the thrift store market due to insufficient revenue. Goodwill expects that its store in Canton will generate 1 million dollars in revenue in its first year.
