The article reports that portfolio company Sophis has been sold to Misys, a capital markets software provider, by Advent International for 273 million euros if debt were excluded. Misys will use proceeds generated from its sale of its stake in Allscripts, new facilities and a convertible bond to fund the purchase. Sophis has around 360 employees and develops cross-asset, front-to-back office securities trading systems.
