Silver Lake Sumeru in Open Source Deal

The article reports that Silver Lake will invest 34 million U.S. dollars in Talend, an open source data management software company based in France, by souring money from its mid-cap fund called Silver Lake Sumeru. Talend was able to raise 62 million U.S. dollars in total investments, with the remaining amount coming from Balderton Capital, IdInvest Partners and Galileo Partners. Talend recently acquired Sopera, also a software company.
