How to make the most of metrics

The article discusses the things human resource (HR) department should know to take the most out of their metrics. The author says an understanding of the strategies of the company like cost control, new product introduction and improved customer service are some of the things that can help the HR to be more effective. He adds that an understanding of employees in all levels can help in communicating with them individually. He cites that data gathering should also be continuously updating itself and should be shared with everyone.
