ABSTRACT
The article highlights the suggestion of human resources (HR) experts to public sector workers to consider pay cuts and more flexible working practices. Public Sector People Managers' Association president Dean Shoesmith said that this call came due to the fact that many people thought that the sector was totally inflexible but the reality is that they are willing to change for the best. In the "Employee Outlook" survey of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, it was revealed that most are unsympathetic with public sector workers.
