Leadership Excellence Essentials;Nov2010, Vol. 27 Issue 11, p19
The authors suggest ways on how corporate leaders can foster strategic learning among their employees. Leaders can create supportive learning culture by fostering collaboration and team learning, analyzing and reviewing employees' learning experiences, the effectiveness of the process and outcomes. To establish a supportive learning environment, they recommend aligning the business and human resource (HR) processes and encouraging employees to share their views and ideas. Managers should also observe role-modeling as employees look up to them.
