ABSTRACT
The authors offer tips on creating new practices for corporate leaders beyond best practices. To obtain collective intelligence and develop next practices, they urge leaders to have willingness to ask questions and convince people to share their ideas, to listen, to learn, to create and use next practices. But they warn leaders and employees of over-commitment that they say could destroy their enthusiasm for their work. They also cite four signs of anger-driven ambition.
