The article calls on corporate leaders to foster inspiration aside from clarity to better survive the economic downturn. Among the characteristics of leaders who survived during the recession according to the author are those who made smart business decisions, were visible and were clear. To foster inspiration, he adds that leaders should create a sense of purpose, excitement and passion among the employees. He also suggests five steps to convince and help people move forward.
