ABSTRACT
The article offers updates concerning the St. Tammany Parish School district in Covington, Louisiana as of November 2010. Prior to joining the St. Tammany Parish School district as supervisor of school food services, Pat Farris was the director of school food services for the Archdiocese of New Orleans in Louisiana. In July 2010, 25 of the 55 schools at the district have been recognized with the Gold Award of Distinction from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Brief information about the Go-Glow-Grow nutrition program at the district is presented.
