The article focuses on the End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium-Critical Care (ELNEC-CC) training programs funded by the Archstone Foundation which aim to improve the end-of-life care education of critical care nurses in California. It states that the ELNEC-CC curriculum offers emphasis on eight end-of-life areas that are particular to critical care. It mentions that participants in the trainings consider that ELNEC-CC materials are helpful in encouraging professional education.
