ABSTRACT
The article presents a report by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), in which the agency examined how the Army Corp of Engineers' (Corps) has realigned its organization to tackle its changing civil works mission, budget, staffing, and workload. It analyzed challenges that the Corps has faced in realigning its organization. The GAO suggested that Department of Defense (DOD) direct the Corps to review and revise the roles and responsibilities of component levels of the organization.
