ABSTRACT
The article presents a report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) on the need of federal agencies for terrorism-related information sharing to address issues on national security. It examines the effort of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) to support fusion centers' operations. It highlights GAO's recommendation for DHS to establish steps in order to develop and implement standard performance measures for centers.
