ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the loan settlement business of financial information provider Markit. It notes that Markit has rebranded the business by combining the technology and services of two companies it recently acquired, ACBS ClearPar and Storm Networks. According to Markit, the new settlement platform, which is called Markit Clear, will help reduce settlement times, reduce processing inefficiencies and increase transparency.
