ABSTRACT
The article presents the Metals Activity Report (MAR) from the Metals Service Center Institute Inc. (MSCI) in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, on the rebound in growth rate of steel and aluminum shipment in the U.S. It states that shipments of steel products from service centers totaled 3.2 million tons in August 2010, while steel shipments from January to July 2010 were about 19.3 percent higher compared to the same period in 2009. A chart that shows the MAR for August 2010 from MSCI is provided.
