ABSTRACT
The article presents guidelines and tips for creating moving and memorable linear designs for rose arrangements. According to the author, restraint in the number of plant materials used and the emphasis on the beauty of individual blooms or foliage are the distinguishing characteristics of line arrangements for roses. The author adds that line arrangements are generally striking and dramatic with emphasis on the contrast between form and texture and have an open silhouette.
