The move is intended at employment growth at its Brookville, Indiana unit but layoffs at its Killbuck, Ohio, operation. Sperry & Rice, the maker of rubber seals and hoses for the appliance, automotive, and truck and bus industries is taking advantage of some state and local incentives that will mean the addition of roughly 40 jobs at the Brookville factory.
