ABSTRACT
The article discusses the challenges of developing reporting models for the digital age that could generate profits. It claims that such efforts, however, are adversely affecting several types of public service journalism, namely, investigative reporting, in-depth statehouse and city government coverage and foreign coverage. He cites the suggestion of journalist Solana Larsen concerning the foreign correspondent model.
