The article offers tips on how to obtain sustainable energy efficiency using heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment in the U.S. Eventhough customized solutions and recommissioning result to energy savings and energy efficiency, the author believes it is expensive and contain inherent risks. To obtain energy efficiency at affordable costs, he suggests the use of HVAC-system design, control and operation and integration of software solutions.
