ABSTRACT
The article provides information about the Bulrushes baby home run by Watoto Child Care Ministries in Kampala, Uganda. Bulrushes has a commitment of providing children in their care with a family for life. Watoto Child Care Ministries is an organization based on church and was established by the Canadians Gary and Marilyn Skinner. The couple faced impoverished grandmothers caring for grandchildren who had been orphaned at the peak of HIV/AIDS crisis after they arrived in Kampala in 1983.
