ABSTRACT
The article offers information on a new national electronic application process in Canada that will allow international medical graduates to apply for a medical licence in all provinces. The initiative, which will come into effect in 2012, is designed to streamline and simplify the process for foreign credentialing by building on a central electronic repository. It is being undertaken by the Medical Council of Canada and the Federation of Medical Regulation Authorities of Canada.
