ABSTRACT
The article discusses the predominance of HIV infection among men who have sex with men (MSM) in the U.S. Based on data collected from 21 U.S. cities, 44% of those HIV-infected men were not aware of their infection. Majority of those unaware of the HIV infection were the young and minority MSM which is attributed to not being tested for the past 12 months. It recommends HIV prevention programs that include annual HIV testing to be intensified to educate the young and minority MSM.
