ABSTRACT
The article suggests a professional reading program for judge advocates in the U.S. Judge advocates have the obligation to research issues and read regulations and professional journals to be able to provide advice to their commanders or clients. Aside from finding time for professional reading, a program to guide subordinates through professional reading plan should also be developed by judge advocates. The categories of reading materials that should be considered by judge advocates include military books, law books and history books.
